About the Eclectic Craftsman

Ryan, The Eclectic Craftsman, is a highly skilled carpenter with over 15 years of experience and a passion for precision and timeless craftsmanship. Though native to North Georgia, he began his career in Atlanta, learning from some of the finest in the industry. Over the years, he has worked in a wide range of homes—from historic estates to sleek modern builds and everything in between—developing a deep appreciation for quality design in all its forms.

After years of long commutes, Ryan returned to the North Georgia Mountains, seeking a better quality of life for his young family while continuing to refine his craft. His most ambitious project to date was building his own home—an experience that gave him invaluable insight into every stage of the process and a deep appreciation for other skilled trades. It also reinforced what he enjoys most—bringing a space to life through expert finish work, where the details and character truly take shape.

Now, he is happily once again focused on bringing clients’ visions to life, offering custom carpentry that blends function, beauty, and lasting quality. Known for his reliability, attention to detail, and easygoing nature, Ryan ensures that working with him is as smooth and enjoyable as the finished product. He is grateful for every client who trusts him with their project and takes pride in creating pieces that will be enjoyed for years to come.

When he’s not in the workshop, Ryan enjoys spending time by the creek with his wife & two young boys, listening to music, tying flies, and chasing trout.
